One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

• An ep of Cartoon Network's Ben 10: Alien Life Force that aired on April 26 charted 17% ratings growth and 21% delivery growth among kids 9-14, 9% ratings and delivery growth among kids six to 11 and 7% ratings and delivery growth among kids two to 11. Overall, Ben 10: Alien Force ranked as the #1 program in its time period compared to all broadcast and basic cable competition among kids 9-14, boys 9-14 and boys 6-11.

• To celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11, Boomerang, Cartoon Network's 24-hour commercial-free sister network, will air a seven hour tribute to that modern Stone-Age matriarch, Wilma Flintstone. During the Wilma Flintstone Mother's Day Marathon, which airs from 12-7 p.m. The holiday marathon kicks off with five and one-half hours of Wilma-centric escapades from the original The Flintstones animated series and concludes with the 90-minute animated feature Hollyrock-A-Bye Baby (1993).

• Phineas and Ferb set out to make the best birthday gift ever for their mom in an all-new episode of the animated comedy series Phineas and Ferb premiering Saturday, May, 10 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The ep also includes an original song performed by Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical).
