L.A.-based Echo Bridge Entertainment has inked its first broadcast deals for programming culled from the Alliance Atlantis distribution catalogue. The company’s also tapped a former Alliance Atlantis to take the newly created position of sales director.
In Europe, France’s Canal J has picked up 24 eps of Degrassi: The Next Generation and 13 eps of Instant Star, while MTV Spain and Portugal acquired the first three seasons of Instant Star.
And finally, ABC Australia has acquired 20 eps of preschool series Lunar Jim.
New addition Christopher Stafford will be handling sales in central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He spent seven years at Alliance Atlantis International before joining Echo Bridge.
