One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

• The Giddy Gander Company has partnered with the United Christian Broadcasters to give The Wumblers another broadcast home abroad. Beginning November 2008, the series will be seen in the UK and Ireland on UCB UKTV as well as Africa on the Omega Channel.

• The third season Curious George premieres on PBS Kids on Monday, September 1. The new series will focus on Earth Science concepts such as recycling, composting, weather patterns, solar power and agriculture.

• iTunes stores in Australia and New Zealand have started selling movies, including kid flicks from major studios such as 20th Century Fox, Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. New releases will be available on line day-and-date with the DVD launch and prices range from US$8.77 to US$21.83, depending on the age of the film.
