New eps of Bakugan on their way

As Bakugan toys are poised to be the hot toy of the holiday season, Nelvana Enterprises, toyco Spin Master, Sega Toys and TMS Entertainment have put another 26 eps of the anime-style series into production.

As Bakugan toys are poised to be the hot toy of the holiday season, Nelvana Enterprises, toyco Spin Master, Sega Toys and TMS Entertainment have put another 26 eps of the anime-style series into production.

Bakugan currently airs on Cartoon Network in the US and Teletoon in Canada, the second season Bakugan: New Vestroia will follow Dan, Marucho and Drago as they join the Backugan Resistance.The new eps will be ready for spring 2009.

As Bakugan’s exclusive licensing agent in the US, Cartoon Network Enterprises has signed several new partners in the softlines categories, including apparel, sleepwear, footwear, swimwear and accessories. DVDs of first season episodes were released in August by Cartoon Network and Warner Home Video in the US and Vivendi Home Entertainment in Canada.
