Decode Enterprises has inked a deal with indie prodco Adastra Creative to distribute its new 26 x 12-minute live-action comedy series, Grandpa In My Pocket.
The series is currently in production for CBeebies. Decode will have TV, DVD and consumer products rights worldwide, and will be launching the new series to international partners next year.
It’s the first UK commission for Adastra Creative, whose co-founders had a hand in penning eps for Charlie and Lola, The Hoobs, Angelina Ballerina, The Tweenies, Little Robots and Thomas the Tank Engine.
The new live-actioner revolves around Grandpa who has a magic shrinking cap that enables him to fly out the window in his grandson’s toy airplane or shoot out the door in his little car, solving problems and creating mayhem along the way.
