Marvel Animation has started production on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, a new 26 x half-hour action toon with the help of Simpson's animation house Film Roman.

Marvel Animation has started production on The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, a new 26 x half-hour action toon with the help of Simpson’s animation house Film Roman.

The new series should be delivered by 2011 for broadcast and will further bolster Marvel’s rapidly expanding TV slate, which currently includes Wolverine and the X-Men and Iron Man: Armored Adventures that will both debut on Nicktoons US in 2009.
