US-based Spanish media company Grupo Televisa and licensing agency United Media have partnered with Fundex Games to launch a toy line based on the new animated series El Chavo.
In December, Fundex will have a four-foot El Chavo toy end-cap, which will initially include, plush, games and puzzles, at major mass retailers across the US.
The program is being featured at 350 Spanish-focused retail stores across North America.
Based on a popular Mexican sitcom, a new animated El Chavo series launched in the US last January with 52 eps airing on Spanish-language broadcaster Univision.
