JimJam expands Russian presence

Global preschool channel JimJam, a joint-venture between Chellomedia and HIT Entertainment, is expanding its reach across Russia with a launch planned on the region's largest satellite platform, NTV-Plus.

Global preschool channel JimJam, a joint-venture between Chellomedia and HIT Entertainment, is expanding its reach across Russia with a launch planned on the region’s largest satellite platform, NTV-Plus.

The launch will take JimJam into approximately 250,000 households in Russia as part of the platform’s extended basic package. JimJam will also be included in the new family package for subscribers.

The channel features shows from the HIT library, including Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Barney & Friends, Fireman Sam, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu, Oswald and Rubbadubbers, and the recently acquired Dorothy the Dinosaur.
