Cartoon Network has partnered with Worldwide Biggies to adapt the non-fiction children’s horror book series NASTYbook into a live-action/CGI film for the net as well as web content.

The film promises to be a Twilight Zone for kids and will be closely tied to the original stories by Barry Yourgrau and supported by interactive online content.

This latest movie joins Cartoon Network’s expanding development slate with previously announced projects including Tiger’s Apprentice, comic book titles Firebreather, The Vanishers, Mice Templar and the sequel to the network’s live-action hit Ben 10.
