KidsCo inks content deal with Iconix

KidsCo, the joint venture net owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment, has inked a deal with Korea-based Iconix Entertainment for a slew of content to air on its Asia Pacific/Sub-Saharan Africa feed.

KidsCo, the joint venture net owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Group and Corus Entertainment, has inked a deal with Korea-based Iconix Entertainment for a slew of content to air on its Asia Pacific/Sub-Saharan Africa feed.

The deal will bring Nalong Fly to the Sky and Spheres to the net in early 2009.

The net confirmed that it has launched in Papua New Guinea following an agreement with local broadcast platform, Channel 8.

KidsCo is now available in more than 40 territories including Spain, Romania, Ukraine, the Middle East, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia and countries across sub-Saharan Africa.
