Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Verizon have signed and multi-year deal that will give customers the chance to have a personal tour guide for the parks via their wireless phones.
By early next year, guests with Verizon phones will also be able to access Disney’s Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, an interactive attraction that is scheduled to launch at Epcot in Walt Disney World Resort.
Planned services include an exclusive mobile application that will give Verizon subscribed guests the ability to locate shows, restaurants and the Disney characters anywhere inside the Parks; get real-time attraction availability information; access mobile games and receive messages from characters.
