A long-term global admin deal between Marvel Entertainment and New York-based Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company will see Marvel build its presence in the music business.
The deal which sees Cherry Lane managing the licensing and publishing of original music from Marvel’s film and TV projects, includes this year’s Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk films, along with Marvel’s latest and upcoming TV series such as Wolverine and the X-Men, Super Hero Squad, Thor and The Avengers. Also included in the deal are films in Marvel’s 2010 and 2011 film slate, Iron Man 2, The First Avenger: Captain America and The Avengers.
