In The Night Garden will soon be landing on shelves in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, as BBC Worldwide has appointed licensing agent Kidz Entertainment to rep the property in the territory.
The TV series recently had its TV launch in Denmark and Poland and Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland will follow in next few months. Kidz, meanwhile, will be working on building the licensing program across those territories, along with overseeing the launch of Hasbro’s toy line based on the property.
In The Night Garden became the fastest growing new toy property during its launch year in 2007, according to NPD’s UK office and has sold more than half a million DVDs and 1.5 million books in that territory. The series has sold to 29 countries to date.
