UK teen girls will soon get their own version of the popular Scandinavian site goSupermodel in Q1 2009.
The online social community, which has 30% to 60% penetration among the tween demo in Scandinavian territories, has two million unique visitors and six million registered users. It’s been localized in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Germany, France, Spain.
Like its predecessors, the new www.gosupermodel.co.uk will boast free membership and a safe environment, where young girls can create and customize their own avatar, play games and interact with others, while building friendships and developing their interpersonal skills. They can also earn and purchase goMoney, the site’s virtual currency.
