People moves: Kidrobot appoints new CEO

With investment and consulting experience under his belt, Diego Marchioni is poised to expand the business of Wilbrain's retail subsidiary Kidrobot in his new role as CEO.

With investment and consulting experience under his belt, Diego Marchioni is poised to expand the business of Wilbrain’s retail subsidiary Kidrobot in his new role as CEO.

Based at the company’s NYC headquarters and reporting to Kidrobot’s board of directors, Marchioni will work closely with founder and president Paul Budnitz on growing the company’s brand with a focus on expanding its apparel and toy lines, developing other product categories and working with Wildbrain on multimedia and entertainment initiatives.

Marchioni also held post as COO for Wildbrain, as well as CFO for Wildbrain and Kidrobot. His previous experience includes stints as investment director at Syntek Capital and as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, which has interests in media, technology and financial services.
