TV-Loonland’s preschool series Little Princess is making its way to Spain.
TVE Spain has snapped up free-TV rights, while Cartoon Network Spain has acquired the pay-TV rights, as the series gears up for its premiere on TVE’s LA 2.
In licensing news, Big Picture Entertainment has picked up the home entertainment rights to the girl-skewing property, looking to release the first DVDs in August/September 2009. Random House is also on board for a publishing program to launch this year for TV tie-in books, with more publishing partners to be announced in the near future.
Meanwhile, TV-L has appointed licensing agent El Ocho Licencias y Promociones, looking to preview products early this year and initial product launches set for this fall.
