In a new partnership with MTV Networks, the PS3 console and PSP handheld’s video service PlayStation Network will offer kids, entertainment and comedy programming in the US, which includes MTVN brands Nickelodeon, The N, and MTV.

Beginning February, users can download a growing library of MTVN shows, such as SpongeBob SquarePants and South Park, with more content being made available come the spring.

PSN’s video delivery service already houses close to 1,200 movies and more than 3,000 TV eps in standard-definition and HD.
