Now and Zen Productions has joined Cartoon Network Enterprises’ licensee fold and is getting set to produce apparel based on CN originals Chowder and Flapjack.
It’s the first licensing deal for both properties, which will include t-shirts and fleece tops for juniors and young men that capitalize on the humor and whimsy in each of the TV series, with product set to rollout at specialty retailers this spring.
Chowder centers around a bumbling young chef’s apprenticeship, while The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack follows the lives of the title character and his two best friends, Captain K’nuckles the pirate and talking blue whale Bubbie, as they try to reach a fabled island.
