Looking to promote mental health and physical exercise, Disney Consumer Products has partnered with toyco Wild Planet to create an active learning toy based on Mikey Mouse Clubhouse in a first-time deal between the two companies.
Mickey’s Mouse-ke-TAG (SRP US$25) for preschoolers is based on the toyco’s Hyper Dash and Animal Scramble games, and is shaped like the clubhouse from the TV series. Goofy calls out descriptions of different targets and kids must run and tag those targets, which use RFID technology. The game, rolling out to mass-market retail this fall, also features a sequence-building memory game, a hide-and-seek treasure hunt.
