KidsCo and Fireworks International enter content deal

A new agreement between joint-venture channel KidsCo and distributor Fireworks International will see the kidcaster take on a number of children's titles to air across its Asia Pacific and Sub-Saharan African feed, beginning this spring.

A new agreement between joint-venture channel KidsCo and distributor Fireworks International will see the kidcaster take on a number of children’s titles to air across its Asia Pacific and Sub-Saharan African feed, beginning this spring.

Licensed programs from Fireworks include 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd, Chuck Finn, Even Stevens, Fergus McPhail, Ocean Star: The Quest, Scout’s Safari Season, Secret Agent Men and Streetsmartz.

KidsCo, owned by NBC Universal, Cookie Jar Entertainment and Corus Entertainment and launched in September 2007, is beamed into countries around the globe, including Germany, Spain, Romania, Ukraine, the Middle East, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Cambodia and Hong Kong.
