Looking to help young ones understand the joy of reading, UK broadcaster CiTV has commissioned Happy Films to produce 13-ep series Bookaboo that’s slated to air on March 2.

Bookaboo revolves around the title character Bookaboo, a world-famous rock ‘n roll puppet puppy that invites viewers to read with him and various celebrity guests. He also gets to rock out on his drum kit stationed on the Bookabus. The series aims to encourage family and other adults to share picture books with their kids, and guest celebrities include Meatloaf, Mel C of Spice Girls fame and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden.
