Blue-Zoo Productions and Snapper Productions are joining forces to bring children’s book character Q Pootle 5 to life in a new animated pilot.
Q Pootle 5, by author Nick Butterworth who also co-founded Snapper, revolves around the title character, a little green alien who goes on funny and imaginative adventures across the universe with his best friend Oopsy.
Butterworth, who’s also penned and illustrated children’s book, including Percy the Park Keeper and The Whisperer, is on-board to executive produce the series, which will be directed by Oli Hyatt of Blue-Zoo, who also directed Those Scurvy Rascals for Nickelodeon International.
