An executive shuffle that began last summer at Corus came into focus on Tuesday, as the company announced a series of appointments across its kiddie division.
The changes at Corus Kids — which in August was put under the command of EVP and GM Doug Murphy — include a new job for Nelvana vet Lynn Chadwick, now VP of sales and distribution and overseer of the company’s partnership with Teletoon.
Moving from a content post, Jocelyn Hamilton is now VP of programming and production at Corus Kids, tasked with building the ‘current ratings momentum’ on YTV, while continuing to work with Canada’s production community on programming.
Other changes include: Colin Bohm as VP and managing director of Nelvana Enterprises, a new position aimed at expanding worldwide broadcast sales, home entertainment and merchandise licensing businesses; Peter Maule becomes VP of worldwide home entertainment and digital media; Dale Hancocks moves up to SVP of operations and associate general counsel for Corus Kids and Nelvana Enterprises.
