It looks like PPC’s animated porcine entertainment hosts will be taking center stage in the UK.
PPC Enterprises has struck a deal with UK theater production company Fiery Light to bring a live action Pinky and Perky to the big stage in 2010/2011. Fiery Light, known in the biz for producing children’s theater, has mounted several stage shows based on other kids IP, including LazyTown, SpongeBob SquarePants, The BFG by Roald Dahl and Peppa Pig.
The Pinky and Perky Show is a CGI series on CBBC, which is set to strip on France 3 and ABC Australia later this year, with sales also confirmed in Nordic territories.
