Temple-Inland has picked up the Baby Wumbler license from the Giddy Gander company and the property will soon be appearing watermelon boxes and bins designed for shipping the fruit to and storing it at supermarkets.
Temple-Inland produces corrugated packaging and owns six containerboard mills and 64 converting facilities. The company is working with Giddy Gander and its partner, the National Watermelon Association of the United States, for the promo. It’s a good fit, as Baby Wumblers are born from watermelons.
A Wumbler Patch e-commerce site at www.wumblerpatch.com is launching this month, and a full book line and associated products are set to hit the market this coming holiday season.
