In the newly created role of VP of consumer marketing for Canada’s Astral Television Networks, Gail Rivett will be putting her web video consulting experience to good use, as Astral ramps up its interactive strategy.
In addition to overseeing marketing, interactive, customer care and research departments for Family Channel and Playhouse Disney Canada, along with other non-kids related sectors, she’ll be leading the strategic direction of consumer-targeted plans and programs in those areas.
Rivett was previously at mDialog.com, where she developed strategies to help grow site usage and build customer engagement. She also has 10 years at Alliance Atlantis Communications under her belt as SVP of marketing and publicity.
