Toronto, Canada-based prodco Breakthrough Films & Television has dipped into the vault and is dusting off live-action preschool series The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon.
The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon is making a comeback as a CGI-animated series, with original cast member Graham Greene slated to return to the fold.
The first series, produced by Breakthrough in association with provincial pubcaster TVO, debuted in 1993 and went on to be broadcast in more than 180 territories. The original combined live action and puppetry and showcased Dudley, the eight-foot-tall green dragon, interacting with kids through song and stories.
