Fisher-Price is definitely not forgetting about the Little People, as its preschool brand celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

With more than 1.5 billion figures sold since the product line’s introduction on March 21, 1959, the toyco is using that date this year to kick off a year-long celebration for the brand. Commemorative playsets, such as the Little People Play ‘n Go Farm (US$17.49), which mirrors the original Play Family Farm set from 1968, and includes retro-style figures, and the Little People Play ‘n Go School (US$17.49), resembling the original School House from 1971, will be part of the hoopla.
