It looks like John Hardie will be doing double-duty for Disney, as the EVP for Disney Channels EMEA has also been appointed as CEO of Jetix Europe.
He begins in his new role immediately, succeeding Paul Taylor who resigned from Jetix Europe. Taylor’s departure follows Disney’s December 2008 acquisition of 100% of Jetix Europe shares. As of January 30, Jetix’s shareholders and NYSE Euronext approved a buy-back offer for its shares for a period to February 26, as well as the company’s de-listing on the February 27.
