On the move

BBC Children's (London, England, 44-208-225-9269) Last month Steven Andrew took up the post of head of drama and acquisitions at the UK kidcaster. Andrew has years of children's TV experience under his belt, serving previously as program director at ITV Digital Channels, as off-peak controller at IVT, and at CiTV, developing and producing original children's programming. He's no stranger to the Beeb, either, spending 24 years at the mother corp working on the likes of Blue Peter, Going Live and Grange Hill as a producer. With his return, Andrew will be overseeing the development and production of all in-house CBBC dramas and handling the kidnet's acquisition strategy.
