With Hasbro branching out further into the gaming arena as a result of its partnership with EA, the toyco has signed an international multi-year deal with Performance Designed Products to develop a line of video game accessories.
The agreement gives PDP the international rights to use the brands in Hasbro’s portfolio for game accessories for the DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3 systems. This year’s projects will include a new line for Nerf and Littlest Pet Shop, in addition to product that will support the upcoming film and video game releases for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
The deal will also see the company expanding the number of licensed accessory products for cell phones and Apple iPods and iPhones.
