A newly inked exclusive worldwide deal between Telescreen and German prodco JEP Animation will see the m4e subsidiary distributing the new animated comedy series Rudolf.

With the exception of Germany, French-speaking Europe and Denmark, Telescreen holds global broadcasting, home entertainment, merchandising, internet, mobile phone, audio and book publishing rights to the new property.

Cologne-based JEP is currently producing the 52 x three-minute series with the support of the European Union’s MEDIA Programme, and is slated to start delivering in the fall with production to be completed by the end of summer 2010.

Rudolf tells the wacky tales of a door-to-door salesman and his weird customers in strange neighborhoods who have no idea that he’s offering wrong items to wrong customers.
