When the Formula 1 ING Australian Grand Prix rolls into Melbourne this month, Chapman’s Roary the Racing Car is joining the big racers.

From March 26 to 29, kids 12 and under will gain free Grand Prix admission, accompanied by a paying adult, where they’ll have their own dedicated space in the Roary Pit Zone, which will have interactive games, Roary car races, competitions, face painting, treasure hunts, a photo zone with Roary and his mechanic Big Chris, and more. The first 10,000 kids will also get a free Meet Roary DVD.

Prior to the festivities, a national TV promo running on Nick Jr. until March 7, in partnership with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, is giving families the chance to win a holiday at the Grand Prix and VIP tickets to the Roary Pit Zone Party. Nick Jr. will also broadcast a Roary Marathon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday March 22.
