Chorion has sealed a two-year promo deal with UK-based QSR chain BB’s Coffee & Muffins that will see the cast of characters from The Mr. Men Show cropping up on its marketing material targeting kids and their parents.

Starting next month, the chain, which boasts 184 locations in the UK and Ireland, will put the iconic characters created by Roger Hargreaves on point-of-sale displays as well as on Mr. Men-branded kids’ meal box. An exclusive Mr. Men Show mini book, featuring Mr. Bump, Little Miss Sunshine and Mr. Tickle will be included with the kids’ meals.

The promotions will culminate with a costume character appearance by Mr. Bump.

The chain has made inroads by promoting itself as kid-friendly, and in 2008 reported that children visiting with their parents accounted for 12% of its customer base.
