Looking to capture the hearts of young girls, HarperCollins Children’s Books is releasing new girl-targeted book trilogy The Cupid Company this coming summer.

Having secured worldwide rights to the trio, including all languages, film, TV and merch rights, HC will be rolling out the first title The Cupid Company: IT Takes Two this August, with the second installment Heart to Heart set for a Valentine’s Day 2010 release.

The romantic comedy series, targeting girls nine and up, follows the story of two 12-year-old girls who are intent on finding everyone’s true love with their help as they set up their matchmaking agency The Cupid Company.

HarperCollins will be on hand at this year’s Bologna Children’s Book Fair with the property.
