As David Borshell takes his leave from indie licensee, producer and distributor Image Entertainment, the company has upped Jeff M. Framer to president from his previous post as CFO.

Frame steps into his new role immediately to help lead the company’s growth. Having served as CFO for Image for the past 15 years, he’ll continue in the role until a successor is found.

In other exec moves, Bill Bromiley will continue to serve as chief acquisitions officer, overseeing all of the company’s content acquisitions, marketing and sales, while Rick Eiberg, who held down the position as EVP, operations and chief technology officer since last April, has been promoted to COO.
