Averaging 450,000 sets of eyeballs per episode and 2.5 million viewers since its February debut, Grandpa In My Pocket from Adastra Creative has been shaping up as a natural candidate for a second season, and CBeebies has just pulled the trigger on commissioning one.

The preschool series, which is also a regular top choice on the CBeebies iPlayer, revolves around a mischievous grandfather and his magic shrinking cap. Only his grandson knows what he’s up to, and when Grandpa shrinks down to pocket-size, the pair sets out on all kinds of wacky adventures together.
