Indie prodco Novel Entertainment is heading to MIPTV with a few more deals for Horrid Henry under its belt.
In Western Europe, Germany’s ZDF has committed to a second season of the 2-D animated series, while Sweden’s SVT1 takes the first 52 eps and Poland’s Op Art SP Zoo snaps up TV and DVD rights to both seasons.
Village Roadshow has nabbed DVD rights to both seasons for Australia and New Zealand and plans to release product in September, plotting the main thrust of its retail marketing plan for April Fool’s Day in 2010.
Novel is currently in production on the 52 eps in season two, aiming for a spring delivery. The first 104-ep season is all that’s available right now.
