As Little Airplane preps for MIPTV take off, it’s got a pair of presales under its belt for new preschool interstitial series, Tobi!.

Canada’s Treehouse TV and Nickelodeon Australia have picked up the four-minute interstitials that revolve around title character Tobi, a boy who wants to make his world a better place. Each ep, animated in a traditional hand-drawn style, will present one global issue in an entertaining, age-appropriate fashion to help the younger set understand comprehend the problem.

Dr. Laura G. Brown, who’s worked on The Wonder Pets! and Ni Hao, Kai-lan, developed the educational curriculum for the series with some help from Little Airplane’s Show and Tell research testing done on each ep before entering production.

Tobi! will be available for worldwide distribution at MIPTV.
