Young Danish kids are getting their own version of the iconic series as Sesame Workshop is teaming up with pubcaster TV2 to put a localized Sesame block on air this September.

The new yet-to-be-named block, hosted by Danish Elmo and his new Danish friend, will include Play with Me Sesame and Elmo’s World. Consisting of two seasons (80 x half-hours), the block will also air interstitials with Muppet fairy-in-training Abby Cadabby and her mirror friend Looky Lou and feature live-action clips of kids living, playing and learning around the world.
