People moves: Disney EMEA taps new VP to consolidate ad sales ops

The Walt Disney Company, Europe, Middle East and Africa, has appointed Peter Fitton to the newly created role of VP, ad sales and promotions.

The Walt Disney Company, Europe, Middle East and Africa, has appointed Peter Fitton to the newly created role of VP, ad sales and promotions.

Fitton will now manage all ad sales and promotions teams throughout the region, with an initial focus on Media Networks and Online, comprised of the company’s kid-focused television and online interests including Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Disney XD, Cinemagic as well as Jetix.com, Disney Online and Disney Family.

The remit will include integrating and consolidating the various streams across all lines of business, franchises and properties.

Fitton was previously VP of international sales at Disney Media Advertising Sales and Marketing Group, based in New York City.
