With London Book Fair kicking off today, UK indie kidlit publisher Holland has announced the launch of Little Star Creations, an imprint which focused on manufacturing and selling character license-based titles for kids two to nine.
Bang on the Door’s Groovy Chick property is the latest to join the upstart’s portfolio, for which LSC will develop a complete range of publishing product. Other key licenses signed to date include Dora the Explorer, Peppa Pig and Mr. Men, with more to come.
The imprint will specialize in FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified children’s books, along with other associated product such as gift height charts and children’s headphones.
LSC is currently in discussions with retailers to establish distribution and looking for other properties.
