California’s Jakks Pacific is on a master toy roll, adding Aardman Animation’s Timmy Time and Shaun the Sheep to its growing list.
Under agreement with Aardman’s North American licensing rep HIT Entertainment, Jakks is taking on the rights to manufacture and market a full line of products based on the fluffy sheep for the US and Canada, including plush, electronic learning toys, figures, and playsets, with the possibility of stationery activity sets, craft activity sets, and musical instruments.
Preschool-targeted Timmy Time products (ages two to five) are scheduled for a fall 2010 retail launch, following the TV series’ debut on Playhouse Disney.
As for Shaun, which has aired on Disney Channel US since July 2007, items will include feature collectible figures and novelty plush for teens and tweens.
