With the success of the Fresh TV’s Total Drama Island series and the anticipated sequel Total Drama Action slated for a June launch on Cartoon Network, the kidcaster’s licensing arm has taken on the property’s L&M rights.

Cartoon Network Enterprises has been granted exclusive North American rights from Cake Entertainment to develop a multi-category program, including home video, for the comedic reality TV-based property.

Total Drama Island anchored CN’s Har Har Tharsdays block after debuting last June and went on to become one of the top-rated series on the network. Its interactive website at www.TotalDramaIsland.com also saw fans create more than two million avatars within three months of the series’ premiere.
