MTVNI’s distribution and commercial arms are keeping busy with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products Germany signing a duo of deal renewals and the program sales team selling into Greece and Thailand.

Home furnishings company Klaus Herding will continue producing branded SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer sleeping bags, curtains and velour towels in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. And in addition to branded school cones, currently available at all stationery shops and department stores in Germany, SpongeBob decorative cardboard Easter Eggs will be available next year in a deal amendment with Nestler Drahterzeugnisse und Feinkartonagen.

Broadcast sales-wise, MTVNI has also inked a few pan-Euro and Asian deals. NRK (Norway) will debut seasons one and two of iCarly and has also renewed seasons one through three of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Greece’s FTA Star Channel, meanwhile, has picked up season six of SpongeBob SquarePants and season one of preschool series Go, Diego, Go!.

And to continue the celebrations of the 10th anniversary this year, SpongeBob SquarePants will also air for the first time on primetime terrestrial TV in Thailand following its launch on Channel 11 in that country.
