BKN soars with Zorro-Generation Z deals

After scoring 250,000 weekly kid viewers in Brazil with season one, BKN New Media has confirmed more broadcast deals for Zorro-Generation Z.

TV Azteca (Mexico), Sun TV (India) and TVE (Spain) have also snapped up the first season (26 x 22 minutes), while TVE and Record TV (Brazil) are now on board to air the second season in HD (26 x 22 minutes) starting fall 2010.

The property has also attracted a number of global licensees, including Doricart (calendars and backpacks) and Marini Silvano (apparel) in Italy, Pernanbucanas (bed linens) and KG Line (back-to-school) in Brazil, Brisa Jardin (bed linens) and Tecnitoys (car and motorbike slots) in Spain, and Giovas (stationery and back-to-school) and Markidis (Easter eggs) in Greece.

BKN has also recently closed deals with On Demand Management for their Greek VOD service, and in the brand will be part of Rainbow Max’s Middle East back-to-school range in the territory range following the series’ broadcast on MBC.
