RIP, M.D. is going to get the comic treatment as the Lincoln Butterfield Animation brings on Fantagraphics Books to rollout graphic novels based on the upstart prodco’s new tween-targeted series.
Fantagraphics is set to release the first volume of RIP comics in Q1 2010 as its first non-newspaper strip licensed property. It follows the adventures of ordinary boy Ripley Plimpt who discovers that monsters are real and require his unusual services as a monster doctor.
