Canuck pubcaster CBC has commissioned another 15 x 11-minute eps of animated preschool series Animal Mechanicals, produced by Halifax Film and distributed by Decode Enterprises.
The re-commission brings the total number of eps to 55 for a third season.
On the consumer products front, Decode’s also sealed a home entertainment deal with Phase 4 Films for English and French-speaking Canada, and product will launch this coming fall. Decode will be on hand at Licensing Show in Vegas next week to look for partners for the brand.
Also, TG4 Ireland has picked up seasons one and two (40 x 11 minutes).
