Brunico Communications, publisher of KidScreen is pleased to announce that Lana Castleman is moving up from her post as Managing Editor to lead KidScreen’s editorial team as Editor.

In her new position, Lana will oversee content planning, assignment and production for the magazine, KidScreen Daily and KidScreen.com. She will also work closely with Publisher Jocelyn Christie to evolve the editorial direction and mandate of the magazine and its various extensions to stay ahead of the news, issues and trends that impact the kids entertainment industry.

Lana has been with KidScreen for six years, moving up through the editorial ranks to experience every aspect of the brand’s content operation. Before joining the company, she served as Associate Editor for North Island Publishing – publishers of Masthead (a Canadian magazine industry trade title) and Graphic Monthly (Canada’s leading magazine for the printing business). Lana is an award-winning journalist who has been steering KidScreen’s special report coverage and online content for the last two and a half years as Managing Editor/Online Editor.

We’ve got some really exciting features planned for the fall issues, and the editorial team will be hard at work developing them under Lana’s guidance. To find out more, or to connect in general, please feel free to drop her a line at lcastleman@brunico.com or 416-408-2300 x 334.
