Amtrak come aboard the hunt for Scholastic’s 39 Clues

As the fourth installment of multimedia book series The 39 Clues gets set for its retail debut today, Scholastic Media has announced its latest nationwide promo, striking up a partnership with Amtrak this summer.

As the fourth installment of multimedia book series The 39 Clues gets set for its retail debut today, Scholastic Media has announced its latest nationwide promo, striking up a partnership with Amtrak this summer.

With the tagline ‘Get On Board For The Ride Of Your Life,’ the promo will run across the US from July 1 to August 31 and will put a spotlight on the IP during the family travel season. Amtrak stations everywhere will distribute two million branded ticket jackets, while passengers on-board will see branded dining car placements and seatback signage.

More than 90 locations will have counter cards promoting The 39 Clues ‘Ride The Rails’ sweepstakes, where consumers can enter for a chance to win a trip for four anywhere in the US that Amtrak travels (ARV US$2,000). The promotion will also be featured on www.the39clues.com and on Amtrak.com, with official rules available after July 1 at www.scholastic.com/39clues/amtrakrules.
